" Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important that clothes?"
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Love, Jesus
(Matthew 6:25, 34)
These verses have been pivotal in our adoption journey. We did not have $30,000 in a bank account when God called us to adopt. However, over and over again money has been available. We have been able to borrow from retirement and a vehicle. We have had a few generous donations. This adoption hasn't been paid for with cash (although I think that would have been an awesome testimony), but we have had enough.
God knew what our checking account looked like when He called us. God knew what our monthly budget looked like when He called us. He also knows what medical expenses we will incur when we bring Cayden home, and have dental work for Micaela.
I'll be honest, some days it can be scary to wonder how all of this will happen. But God has been so very faithful to provide. I'd like to think I've grown in my trust of God. I know I have been amazed by people who have been so kind and given money. Each one of them is just a piece of the masterpiece that God has been in the process of making.
Our final need to bring home Micaela and Cayden is the travel expenses. We estimate it to cost about $7,000 for three of us to fly to Cebu, and there is the potential to travel in June. We have exhausted all personal funds/loans. Would you consider donating to bring these two precious kids home?
Humbly,
Candie
